Mary Watkins

Mary Watkins is a clinical review specialist and occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience in healthcare and clinical review programs. Her experience includes oversight of multidisciplinary teams supporting physical medicine, dental, prosthetics, and diagnostics services, most recently with a large national healthcare network. With a foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation and workers’ compensation, Mary brings expertise in clinical oversight, process improvements, quality management, and providing education to key stakeholders including claims and provider teams, as well serving as a clinical liaison to her internal peers. She has partnered with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions, including OCR and machine learning initiatives, into operations and clinical programs. She holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Florida and is also certified as an Ergonomics Assessment Specialist.
