It’s time to kickstart 2026! Join your Mitchell colleagues this February as we ignite our vision for the year ahead. This conference will combine energizing team connections, valuable training sessions, strategic planning breakout discussions and plenty of time to celebrate all our successes from 2025. New This Year
Mitchell’s annual Kickoff Conference is a time for the APD team to motivate and inspire each other. This year, we’re excited to introduce several notable changes to the program:
Awards Ceremony & Dinner
In addition to honoring our exceptional Sales & Service colleagues, we will also recognize APD’s Annual MVP award winners during the ceremony. All those participating in the celebration will have an opportunity to dress up (although it is not required) and a plated dinner will be served to those in attendance following the ceremony.
General Session Content
We are adding additional time to the agenda to cover general session topics that are relevant to all APD employees.
Hotel
Those traveling to San Diego from out of town will be housed in one hotel—the exceptional Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine—and, as in year’s past, shuttle transportation will be provided.

The APD 2026 Kickoff Conference is invitation only. Please register by Friday, January 30, 2026, to reserve a conference badge and hotel room (out-of-town employees only). Review the information provided below prior to beginning the registration process.
To Register
Employees are responsible for booking flights through Enlyte's Corporate Travel Provider, Traveltrust, which is available through Concur. Should you have any issues accessing Concur, please submit an Enlyte Service Portal ticket and route to Finance > Travel and Expense and someone will assist you.
For any travel-related matters and/or booking issues, please contact Traveltrust for investigation before acting outside of Enlyte’s travel policy and booking direct. Traveltrust’s contact details are listed via the Concur homepage under the Company Notes tab and below for reference:

Recommended Arrival & Departure Times
Kickoff will start with breakfast at 8:00 am on Tuesday, February 24, so it is recommended that all out-of-town attendees not within driving distance arrive the night prior. San Diego-based employees should plan to drive to the meeting on Tuesday, February 24 for the 8:00 am breakfast. All attendees (unless otherwise notified) should plan to depart after lunch on Wednesday, February 25. Sessions will end no later than 12:30 pm.
Prior to making your airline reservations, please confirm with your manager about specific team breakouts before or after the main program content.
Ground Transportation & Parking
Farmer & The Seahorse is located approximately 17 miles (25 minutes) from the San Diego International Airport (SAN). If you need a taxi, follow the signs leading to the Transportation Plazas. A Transportation Coordinator will place you with the first available taxi—unless you specify a particular taxicab company. Additionally, ride-sharing options including Lyft and Uber are available for airport pick-ups and drop-offs as well. Please look for signs outlining ride-share pick-up locations at each terminal.
Complimentary self-parking at Farmer & The Seahorse is available. Daytime attendees who plan to drive to the meeting should allow themselves additional time to ensure an on-time arrival for all events.
For out-of-town hotel guests staying at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine, transportation will be provided to and from Farmer & The Seahorse daily at session start and end times. The Hyatt is located approximately 3.6 miles (10 minutes) from the conference venue. Plan to meet the provided shuttle outside the hotel lobby on the front drive.

All out-of-town participants who require overnight accommodations will stay this property to meet the contracted room reservation. Individual reservations at other locations will not be reimbursed.

What's the dress code for the APD 2026 Kickoff Conference?
The dress code for the conference is smart business casual; collared shirts and dress pants for men, and collared shirts, skirts and/or dress pants for women. For the Awards Celebration & Dinner, we are elevating our dress code in recognition of Mitchell’s 80th anniversary. Attendees interested in dressing up for this special milestone celebration may wear:
- Men: Sport coats or suits with dress shirts and ties
- Women: Cocktail dresses, pantsuits or dressy separates
This fancier attire is optional and not required.
What's the expected weather forecast in late February?
The weather in late February is cool to mild in San Diego. Expect the possibility of rain or light showers. High temperatures average in the high 60s / low 70s with nights in the mid 50s. Please remember to bring sweaters or jackets, as we will be outside for meal functions (weather permitting).
How do I communicate special dietary needs or concerns?
Enlyte will handle all meeting planning and hotel details, including sleeping rooms, dietary considerations, disabled accessibility, etc. If you have any special requirements, please include them in the special requirements portion of the registration form or contact EnlyteEvents@enlyte.com.
We will support vegetarian and healthy food choices at all meals, and requests for dietary requirements as medically required. Please send an email to EnlyteEvents@enlyte.com and someone will assist you within two business days.
How do I get an invitation to register?
Contact your manager or EnlyteEvents@enlyte.com to confirm whether you are on the approved APD 2026 Kickoff invitee list.
Can I forward registration information to my newly hired colleague?
No. The new hire should contact his/her manager and EnlyteEvents@enlyte.com so the attendee list can be updated and a personalized invitation to register can be sent.
I registered and want to edit my information. Can I access it?
Yes, you can. Go back into the registration site with your confirmation number and edit any personal information. All hotel changes need to be addressed by sending an email to EnlyteEvents@enlyte.com. Someone will assist you within two business days.
Who should attend the awards presentation, dinner and celebration?
All APD 2026 Kickoff invitees are encouraged, but not required, to attend the reception, awards presentation, dinner and celebration on February 24. The awards given at Kickoff recognize select members of the APD Insurance and Collision Repair Sales and Service teams who have achieved outstanding results in 2025 as well as our Annual MVPs.
What are the travel logistics for remote employees?
For those Mitchell employees arriving from out of town, your flights and transportation will be covered by your departmental T&E budget, and your hotel accommodations will be covered by the program for approved nights. Any extended stay will be at your own expense, and a credit card will still be required at check in for incidentals. You will be able to book your hotel room during the registration process, at which time your name will be added to the rooming list. Please do not contact the hotel directly.
Mitchell employees should utilize Traveltrust to book flights and rental car if needed (your manager’s approval is required).
Can I stay at a different hotel?
Enlyte has reserved a room block, at discounted rates, for attendees at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine. All out-of-town participants who require overnight accommodations will stay at this property in order to meet the contracted room reservation. Individual reservations at other locations will not be reimbursed.
Can I arrive early/stay late and stay for the conference rate?
Yes, the Enlyte negotiated rate of $249, plus tax, at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine may be available for 3-days pre- and post-conference, based on availability. Any extended stay will be at your own expense.
If I need to make a change to my hotel reservation, who do I contact?
Please send an email to EnlyteEvents@enlyte.com and someone will be able to assist you with your hotel changes within two business days.
Once onsite, where do I park?

Who should I contact if I cannot attend the meeting?
Please contact your manager AND EnlyteEvents@enlyte.com so we can take note of your absence and plan accordingly.
What are the rules regarding expensing meals and incidentals during the program(s)?
Enlyte will provide scheduled group meal functions for all attendees. All other incidentals will be the responsibility of the attendee or will require approval/justification on your expense reports. If you are unsure about which meal functions you have been approved to attend, please check with your manager prior to completing your registration.
