Mitchell has partnered with Cofinity (an Aetna Company) to provide enhanced capabilities for the management of healthcare expenses related to property casualty bodily injury claims. 


The Cofinity partnership enables Mitchell clients to offer their injured party customers many Aetna health care products and services that were previously available only to Aetna customers such as: 

  • National, Regional and Specialty Medical Networks 
  • Out of Network Solutions 
  • Dedicated Customer Service Team 


Cofinity’s comprehensive network, coupled with the operational efficiencies gained from Mitchell DecisionPoint®, assists in full benefits capture on all eligible claims while enabling consistent, cost effective, service sensitive and efficient claims handling procedures. 


For Mitchell Auto Casualty Solutions clients, the seamless combination of Cofinity network solutions and the advanced capabilities of Mitchell DecisionPoint: 

  • Enables injured party access to Cofinity’s Network; one of the leading voluntary provider networks in the United States today— providing quality service to more than 360 health plans and insurance companies representing more than 1 million members; 
  • Reduces monetary expenditure for medical management benefits by accessing Cofinity’s contracted provider discounts without loss of benefit quality: – translates into “extension of policy limit” benefit for injured party; – minimizes injured party out-of-pocket medical expenses; 
  • Empowers maximum appropriate use of straight through processing for medical benefit management billings; • Accelerates claims adjuster efficiency due to removal of “receive, review, reimburse” process; 
  • Delivers additional claims control around potential “multiple claims” and duplicate billings;
