How to Avoid an ICD-10 Claims Disaster

The increase in codes offered by ICD-10 presents numerous challenges to carriers and providers looking to ensure that payment is received. Recent end-to-end testing has revealed a decrease in claims acceptance rates over previous months indicating there is still work ahead for organizations implementing the new code set. However, there are steps that providers can take to ease the transition and improve the overall billing experience.
