Hurricane Dorian Spawns Emergency Declarations and Evacuations along East Coast

Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia have declared states of emergency and are, in some cases, ordering residents to evacuate in advance of Hurricane Dorian. Mitchell Pharmacy Solutions is announcing processing changes for injured workers living in affected areas to facilitate continued access to necessary and approved pharmacy care. Effective immediately, injured workers in areas that fall within the designated disaster areas will be allowed to obtain early refills and to receive up to a 90-day supply of currently prescribed medication subject to limits based on remaining approved refills or other customer policy limitations.
These changes will remain in effect for the duration of the storm and any required evacuations.
