At Mitchell, we’re always looking for new opportunities to give back to the community. We’re dedicated to making a difference in the industries we work in, especially the collision repair industry. In October, we had the privilege to give back to future members of the Collision Repair Industry through a partnership with the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF).
Dress for Success
The Collision Repair Education Foundation invited Mitchell to sponsor work uniforms for the upcoming fall school year to help provide the collision students with a professional appearance. The objective of this program is to connect collision repair businesses like Mitchell with collision school programs. The more engaged the local industry is with the school, the better prepared the collision students will be to enter the industry after graduation. This also fosters an appreciation for the role the collision repair businesses play in their personal success.
Mitchell donated 50 branded uniforms to the Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Shelbyville, Tennessee. The recipients of the uniforms were members of Professor Eric Brown’s Collision Repair Technology class. Joe Sucher, Director of Sales, East Coast, and Pauline Perenack, Sr. Marketing Manager represented Mitchell in delivering the uniforms.
During the visit, Mitchell toured the facility, met and talked to all of the students, and even had some hands on training in the virtual spray booth.
Mitchell is proud to have made similar donations in the past, and is pleased to donate more uniforms later this year to another collision repair school in Cerritos, California.
