
Mitchell Glass to Preview GlassMate™ 6.0 at IGA 2009
New version provides cutting edge mobile integration that offers mobile access to parts look up and work order scheduling using smartphones
San Diego, CA—May 7, 2009—Mitchell International, Inc., a leading provider of information, workflow and performance management solutions to the Property & Casualty claims and Collision Repair industries, today announced that Mitchell Glass will preview GlassMate™ 6.0 at this year's Independent Glass Association (IGA) 2009 Independents Days' Conference and Spring Auto Glass Show. GlassMate software is a leading point-of-sale system that delivers efficiency and automation to the Auto Glass Repair and Replacement (AGRR) market.
GlassMate 6.0, which is slated for market launch in Q4 2009, will feature an enhanced user interface, as well as new functionality designed to address the growing needs of the AGRR industry. Of note, GlassMate 6.0 will feature "on-the-go" mobile integration capability allowing customers to access NAGS® vehicles and parts information along with work order schedule information using smartphones such as Blackberry® and the Apple® iPhone™.
