RepairCenter Estimate Rules Analyzer proactively screens estimates and then compares them against the predetermined criteria established in your system, quickly identifying items that are out of compliance and that require review. All of this happens prior to upload so changes can be made before committing the estimate. 

This quick-but-thorough review enables you to identify any items that have been left off of the estimate that should be included, or items that are out of compliance according to your insurance partner’s requirements. Most importantly, the Estimate Rules Analyzer checks the estimate for profitability so that you know the estimated gross profit of a job before you commit to the repair.

So how does it work?

Estimate Rules Analyzer enables you to create and manage profiles for various partners and establish your own customized profiles too. Estimate Rules Analyzer will let you know which (if any) elements of an estimate don’t match up to a particular partner’s labor rate or alternate parts usage demands, for example, and where they don’t meet your own self-determined rules too.

Setting the controls with Estimate Rules Analyzer:

• Rates—Set the maximum labor rates, taxes, discounts, and mark-ups.
• Labor—Set the maximum labor hours allowed for selected operations.
• Parts—Create comprehensive parts rules to ensure the right LKQ, AM, or OE parts lands on the estimate when appropriate.
• Materials—Set the maximum material expenses on an estimate.
• Administration—Ensure all estimate administration fields are included.
• User Defined—Set additional custom criteria based on your specific needs, including P-Page reminders and not included operations.
• P-Page—Review estimate for p-page not-included operations to remind estimator to consider the operation.
• Custom Rules—Create additional custom rules based on your specific needs.

With each scan, Estimate Rules Analyzer produces a report that highlights any deviations from the preset profiles you have developed. By highlighting areas that have not met the set requirements, estimators can quickly and easily modify the line item as needed.
